Some recent self-discovery

Indeed it's true what they say about fashion--it's a luxury. And while my love for fashion has not waned, in the several months that passed I've had to re-evaluate my priorities, explore, and rediscover things about myself, what I want, and where I want to be. I will not dwell on more personal matters here but rather, simply share a realization on what I've come to regard as an interpretation of my own style: I like ensembles that look clean and details that may not be loud yet nonetheless make a statement. I've had several opportunities to experiment with various colors and prints but it's still basic black and white pieces cut to a flattering fit that never fail to enamor me the most, often compelling me to purchase. I like things that are for the long-term, and thus while the trendy will still pique my interest and maybe spark some inspiration, I will prefer the classic known to stand the test of time.
